How we build and check our tools

You should be able to check every number on this site yourself. Here is how we make that possible.

Calculators

Each calculator page shows the formula it uses and a worked example with real odds. Where bookmakers settle a bet in different ways (dead heats, rule 4, void legs), the page says which rule the calculator follows.

Operator facts

Licences come from the regulator's public register. Bonus terms, payment methods and withdrawal limits come from the operator's own terms and cashier pages. Every fact carries the date we checked it. We do not publish payout times we have not measured.

Which operators we show

Only operators licensed in the country a page is written for. Commission plays no part in which operators appear next to a calculator. We do not list operators that let people get round self-exclusion.

Corrections

If a formula or a fact is wrong, we fix the page and change the check date.
