What is in a Round Robin

10 bets on 3 selections:

Part of the betBets

Trebles1
Single stakes about (up and down)6
Total10

In a single stakes about bet, if the first selection wins, a stake equal to the original goes on the second. Each pair is placed both ways round. In the US, “round robin” means a set of parlays instead; for that, use the accumulator calculator for each parlay.

How the return is worked out

Each line is settled on its own: the line stake times the decimal odds of every selection in it, multiplied together. A losing selection makes every line it is in return nothing. A void selection counts as odds of 1.0. For each way bets the place part uses place odds: (decimal odds − 1) × place fraction + 1.

line return = stake × odds₁ × odds₂ × … and total return = sum of all line returns

Worked example

£1 a line: A at 2/1 (won), B at 3/1 (won), C at 6/4 (lost). Total stake £10.00.

Line that paysPartReturns
A + BWin£12.00
A then B (SSA)Win£6.00
B then A (SSA)Win£6.00
A then C (SSA)Win£2.00
B then C (SSA)Win£3.00
Total return£29.00
Profit£19.00

Not included: rule 4 deductions, dead heats, each way extra places and bookmaker bonuses (for example double odds on a single winner). Your bookmaker's settlement is final.
